Package: python3-timeout-decorator
Architecture: all
Description: timeout decorator for Python functions
timeout-decorator provides a decorator that limits how long a function can
run: when the time limit is reached, it raises an exception (TimeoutError by
default, or one of your choice). The limit is set on the decorator and can be
overridden for a single call with the timeout keyword argument.
 .
By default the timeout is implemented with signals, which only work in the
main thread. For functions running in other threads, such as the workers of
a web application, it can run the function in a separate process instead,
using multiprocessing; the return value must then be picklable.
