This GeoPackage contains cartographic island/reef shapes for areas discussed in
Japan territorial-dispute references. The shapes are not authoritative legal
boundary polygons.

Northern Territories and Senkaku Islands shapes are derived from Natural Earth
1:10m land polygons:

Okinotorishima and Takeshima / Liancourt Rocks shapes are derived from
OpenStreetMap geometry obtained through the Overpass API.

Bundled sample tabular data

Contains 2021 prefecture GDP per capita values for examples. Values are based
on OECD regional GDP per-capita figures as tabulated on Wikipedia.

Contains selected U.S. military installation coordinates and approximate public
personnel figures for examples. Row-level source URLs are stored in the
source_url column. The data are intended for examples and are not official
personnel accounting.
