Struct-Codec A Perl structure to bytes and back, with nothing lost: strings stay strings and numbers stay numbers, the UTF-8 flag survives, a blessed referent comes back blessed into the same class, and references that were shared or cyclic are shared or cyclic again. Anything it cannot carry - code, globs, handles, regexps, tied things - is refused with an error rather than stringified. It also publishes a C ABI, so another XS module can encode a value straight into memory it owns and decode one straight out, with no Perl frame between. Shared::Arena's caches and maps are the first consumer. INSTALLATION To install this module, run the following commands: perl Makefile.PL make make test make install SUPPORT AND DOCUMENTATION After installing, you can find documentation for this module with the perldoc command. perldoc Struct::Codec LICENSE AND COPYRIGHT This software is Copyright (c) 2026 by LNATION.
